So it has been a little over a year since I've done this and so much has changed within that time. Relationships have failed and progressed, My major has been changed about 300 times, and I have finally discovered what my calling is in life. My relationship with God has grown. I've met tons of new people, gained contact with those whom I haven't spoken to in ages, and learned to leave the past exactly where it needs to be. I have learned what is important to me and what/who isn't. This year has been tremendous for me because I am finally learning exactly who Kierra is. I'm growing as a woman and I am enjoying each moment.

I am proud of my progression. Proud of my ability to avoid things that should be avoided. Proud that I have taken HUNDREDS, no scratch that, THOUSANDS of chances this year. Proud that I haven't given up on much. Proud that each day, I'm continuing to fight to make all of my dreams, my reality. Proud that I am a new person and I still have so much more room to grow.

I'm excited about the growth that I have experienced and even more excited about the wonderful things that are in store for my future.

Stay tuned as each event unfolds. It's going to be a wild and crazy road.

Artist of the Week 3 !

So i came across Chrisette Michele a couple of years ago while i was watching MTV JAMS. I love her voice. She has a bit of a rasp to it, but it comes off so smooth! I think she has a bit of an old school jazz feel. She's had numerous songs that I've liked which are in the playlist.

So I hit up a spot in Grand Rapids to get some DELICIOUS fried chicken and saw this sign. People we have go to do better! It's you're not your! AHHHH! This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.

I think this secret holds true for many people. If we knew it was the end to so many different things would we have behaved differently? I find that we often wait until it is far too late to try to fix things, so I think this is a good thought for everyone. Work on making everything in your life better even if it is already good! There is ALWAYS room for improvement =]
